JL Training is owned and managed by Joan Lomas and specialises in the provision of quality, up to date training in Food Hygiene and in Health and Safety  for a diverse range of businesses, organisations and groups with delegates of all ages, abilities and ethnic origin.

JL Training is a registered training centre with the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (CIEH) to deliver regulated courses and also offers bespoke training sessions tailored to the specific operation of individual businesses.  Based in the High Peak, the business is conveniently located for Derbyshire, Cheshire and Greater Manchester.

Time of Day

Course times are flexible and can run at a time to fit in with the demands of individual businesses or organisations.

Special Learning/Language Needs

CIEH examination papers in a range of languages other than English are available.
For candidates with special educational needs or disabilities, additional time is allowed for examinations.

Location and venues

JL Training delivers group training at clients premises or alternative venue.  A future development of the business will be to offer public courses open to individual candidates.
